It was summer 2007. I was looking out of my living room window, into the garden and the field beyond our house trying to spot my cat izzy. She was beautiful. She had a long, sleek body with black silky fur and huge green eyes. She was also very good natured and friendly. When she didn't return for a good seven hours I began to worry. 3 days passed and still no sign, something had happend, she would never just go like that. I was getting ready for bed and in my head, a clear voice told me sternly "she's gone". I thought nothing of it until the next morning when I woke and rememberd a dream.

The dream: In the dream my eyes were shut, but there was still light bursting through them. Reluctantly I slowly opended them, wincing because of the light. When my eyes fully adjusted I look around in complete astonishment. I was in the most beautiful meadow. There was a clear river running through it, Large oak trees and a vast flower bed. I sat and took in the souroundings, i was sat crossed legged on long soft green grass very content and relaxed. Just then, I noticed movement in the flower beds. Izzy came strolling out, she noticed me and walked towards me. I looked at her and asked "Where have you been" whilst stroking her head. She looked up at me, and although she didn't speak a word, in my head I heard "I'm gone now. But i'm okay. Goodbye" After I heard that, and not phased by any of it i said "Goodbye" and she ran back into the flowers.

I was very comforted after remembering this dream. I told my mother about it and she told me that the previous night she had also dreamt of the meadow but she didn't see izzy. I still miss her but I am now safe in the knowladge knowing that she is happy.
