Floating Dock

It was summer holidays, and I was at a cottage with a bunch of friends. I remember having a discussion with my friend about death, and she said there was no point in planning the future, because we never know what will happen, although I agreed I still had doubt inside my head.
After supper, a bunch of us decided to go swimming. So I went out swimming and there was a floating dock, that a bunch of people was on trying to balance on it without falling off. I remember thinking before going swimming I should wear a life jacket, but I thought, nah I can swim. So anyways I decided to go on this floating dock, and I fell backwards, and I didn't return to surface.
I was underneath the dock that everyone was balancing on. I panicked. I was scared. I tried pushing up on the board, trying to yell to someone to get me out, but I couldn't yell underwater. I can't breathe underwater. I had racing thoughts, one of them being, the conversation I had with my friend earlier about death, and having that little death. The next one was the fear of hell, although I believe Jesus Christ died for me and rose again, I still had fear I would go to hell. I had thoughts about someone has to save me, how can they not notice I'm under here?
I remembered thinking mom said to me God wouldn't let me die until I was ready, then I decided to pray to God, I was scared, I asked him to help me. I remember pushing, kicking, and moving my arms around but getting nowhere. I gave up and said okay God, it's time for me to go. I then saw a light, and a hand, the next thing I saw was the surface. I was soo thankful, God heard my prayers, I honestly thought God sent an angel to pull me out of the dark waters, because I was too weak to swim out of the disorientated water. I was confused in these waters, and God saw I was lost. I didn't know how I got out, other then that God pulled me out, until later I knew God used one of his children to pull me out of the water. My best friend's brother had pulled me out. I thank God so much that I am alive today, and I can breathe each moment.
