I was talking to my Dad last Sunday about the liver transplant he had last year. He had cancer and almost died twice and went on surgery on the Friday 13th of November last year, and we were told he would not come back from the surgery table.

He had lots of paranormal experiences before and after the surgery. He told us about some of them while he was sick in the hospital, and delirious, so I had to remind him of some of them last Sunday. He started laughing but got really serious with some memories of his staying in the hospital.

He said that he was very weak and sleepy, and used to see lots of people around the bed and that he was not sure if they were doctors, nurses or something else, maybe spirits. One day he got angry and tried to grab a woman that was looking mean, but he said that when he stretched his arm, there was nothing there.

He said that he listened to an horrible song on his right ear all the time. Voices were offending him and his family, saying bad words about mom, my brothers and me.

But on the left ear there were voices telling him to be strong so he would get better soon. He said the voices were very vivid and never left him alone. I also reminded him of a day when his aunt was taking care of him, then he asked her to give him her umbrella, so he could open it and hide from some strange people that were staring at him on the door. I wonder if those were spirits from the other side, because no one else could see them.

Then he told me he saw his mother, that died one year before. He said he saw her eyes above him, sometimes they looked happy and then worried. I told him that maybe he was really looking at her, maybe she was trying to communicate with him.

Then he started crying, saying that he almost gave up sometimes, but then he remembered he had to come back for my son's birthday in December, and that was what happened. He got better really fast and came home last December.

We cried together, and hugged.

When I went home that day, I was really tired. The next day was a holliday, so I could stay home. But I was really tired. If I sat on the sofa, I started sleeping. I didn't had strength to play with my son, so I slept almost the whole day.

Then, when the sun was going down, I decided to get up and went to the garden with my husband and son. I sat on the chair on the garden and the weather was fresh. Then, while my son was playing with the ball and my husband was talking to me, I felt some little cold thing pressing my left shoulder. I rubbed it, and then the cold sensation came back again. I felt like someone was pressing my shoulder with a really cold finger.

I told my husband and he laughed saying it was a ghost. I told him I was serious and the cold finger on my shoulder was still bothering me when I remember I was talking about my deceased grandmother the day before. When I told my husband it could be her, because I was so tired ad feeling something cold on my shoulder, he mocked me and then the cold finger sensation vanished away. I wonder if that was really my grandmother trying to communicate.
