Weapons Battalion Barracks

This experience just happened to me a month back out at Weapons and Field Training Battalion. A buddy of mine who is a DI with First Battalion his cycle was coming through weapons so one night when he had duty I went out and visited him. I've always thought that Weapons Battalion was creepy at night, especially the barracks, I remember as a recruit pulling several fire watches while at Weapons and just had a creepy feeling. There were times when we were standing online only to have several of us pushed back against our racks by something that wasnt visible to ourselves. But anyways, I went out and visited my buddy. We're shootin the shit when I went to make a head call and went into the recruits head. While making my head call I heard someone in shower shoes, not a big deal prolly a recruit making a head call, all of a sudden I hear a shower going which is odd cause that would have meant instant death for a recruit to take a shower that late at night. So I went back to DI house and told my buddy "One of your boys is taking a shower, you know?" He got excited because it meant a chance to catch a recruit being stupid, so I followed him into the head and we both could clearly hear the shower going, and we were being quiet to sneak up on him before we got to the shower we heard the shower turn off and and burst into the rain room hoping to catch a recruit to yell at, not only was no one in there but the shower was bone dry.

When we walked out my buddy asked one of the recruits on firewatch if he had heard the shower going, and none of them had.

It was weird, and I still get creeped out by the Weapons Barracks.
