When I was around 11 years old, I stayed at my best friends house on a regular basis. One weekend, we decided we should have another friend stop over for a change. Now this friend would always lie about ghosts and members of her family passing away so we slowly began disbelieving every word that came out of the girls mouth. But, this strange experience finally brought truth upon ONE of her stories.

The three of us had just finished watching Most Haunted and as you can imagine being young and watching a programme like that we were all pretty creeped out, but we went to bed and decided to carry on the talk of ghosts. Whilst one of my friends were telling us all a story, i happened to notice a weird blue light outside of the window but i failed to mention it to the others as they'd probably think i was crazy, so i ignored it and looked elsewhere. However, my friend got up to go to the toilet and when she came back she claimed she saw something in the mirror of the bedroom. Me, being the oldest, was forced to look into the mirror and see if i saw anything strange. As i looked into the my face changed to that of an older womans, and even my eye colour and hair changed. I turned away in fear and described to my two other friends what i'd seen. The girl who used to lie claimed that this was her grandmother but me and the other girl failed to believe her. Later on in the night, random cold patches would appear in the room and the television and keyboard would turn on on its own. In the end, we forced ourselves to sleep as we were too scared to stay awake. In the morning, the "lying" friend got a phone call. Her grandmother, who was the woman i changed to in the mirror, died the night before.
