i was a kid when my tonsilectomy went wrong that first had out of body experience from operating room, to than being abruptly pulled through tunnel of blindingly bright light.

i than remember as if it just happened the other day, as i am now 41 years old, that there were three very high, and long arched hallways :one in front of me, and the other two on left and right of me, but nothing behind me. while i was fascinated of my surroundings, along came a man i did not know, and told me to wait where i was standing, as he wandered away from me to do whatever. i remember that i did not want to remain where i was, and i strolled off to the hallway to right of me where i had heard voices talking. i needed to be with them. so when i approached the people that sounded like whispering, they noticed me, but carried on whispering back and forth to one another. than the person who told me to stay where i first came came to me, and said to me in neutral tone: "i told you to wait over there", but than led me in direction to where i came and i had to go back into my body. if only they knew to trust a childs instinct to not want to go back, i would have been better off just staying in the after life. to hand me back over to two unfit people that should never have been parents!

i still have faith in god and the higher power, but i don't always agree they know what is better for me than i do.
