One night I was alone, talking into my tape recorder. I was relating a story about an elderly woman who had an accident. (I believe she fell on the steps and ended up lying in the yard.)

When I played the tape back, at the end of the story I heard a second voice- When I got to the part of how the old woman fell off the steps, there was a snickering laugh in the background on tape. I listened to the laugh over and over. The more I listened, the fainter the laugh got until it disappeared completely.
