The Ghost that Saved My Daughter

in movies and books ghosts are portrayed as evil spirits that always want to hurt living people, but my story shows that this is false.

i was on holiday in England once with my husband my 6 year old daughter and my sister. my daughter was not too well so my sister stayed in and looked after her while me and my husband walked to the shop just down the road. as we were walking we passed a huge old tired looking house. as i looked up into the top window i noticed a small girl waving at me. as i waved back my husband wondered who i was waving at and i told him the little girl in the window. but my husband told me that there was not a girl in the window and there wasnt before. as i turned my attention to the house, the little girl was gone.

so trying to prove my point that there was a girl in the house, i went up to the door and knocked on it. as i knocked the door opened and me and my husband decided to have a look around. when we got inside we looked around and noticed that the house was deserted and really old. when we looked under the beds there where even dirty bed pans lying there. the house had not been touched in years. as i was getting a little creeped out we decided to walk back to our caravan.

during the night my daughter was not feeling too well and came to sleep inbetween myself and my husband. not long after i had fallen asleep i was suddenly woken by a deadly chill. when i looked in the corner of the room standing there was the little girl i saw in the old house. she started pointing frantically at my daughter and makin choking sounds and shouting help her. (she had an irish accent) i started trying to wake my husband when i looked at my daughter and she was choking. as my husband woke up the little girl in the corner gasped and put her hands over her mouth and then disappeared. just then my daughter got even more frantic and we had to call an ambulance. we where in hospital for the rest of the night and it was discovered that she had a serious case of quincie. (when puss grows at the back of your throat and blocks your breathing tube) if she had not have been brought in at that moment she would have choked to death.

if it was not for the ghost girl that warned me of my daughter not being well she would no longer be with me and my life would not be worth living. thank you little girl.
