Angel of Death

December 12, 2008 my father passed away due to a long battle with cancer. I stayed by his bedside for six days without sleep. Prior to his death a few days earlier I witnessed what appeared to be a ghost or spirit of some sort walk by his bed. It was a dark figure appearing as a dark shadow and dressed like a soldier. The nurse told me earlier that morning my dad would die within twenty four hours, this was on a Monday. When the spirit appeared he went to the foot of my dad's bed. The room appeared cold and my dad had been in a coma all day. As soon as the spirit went to the foot of my dad's bed my father took a deep breath and sat up in his bed and called my name. Early Friday morning at 3:30 I saw what appeared to be the figure of a hand rising above my father's head. I walked over to the bed and fifteen minutes later he took his last breath. My father was 83 years old and had a military funeral dressed in his Marine dress blues!
