There's Something Out There

Ok, this story is rather short. I was in my house. It's not a old house or anything (maybe about 40 years or so). Anyway, this happened recently.

I was in my house. I left the TV and came upstairs to get something. That's when I noticed my cat was acting very unusual. He kept staring at something with wide eyes. He was bristling all over! And the thing was, I saw nothing.

He kept following something with his eyes and perched himself on top of the desk where he sqeezed into a corner and remained there staring intently at absolutely nothing!

Also, I kept hearing eerie crackes and snaps inside the wall. And what really freaked me out was after I went downstairs. I have a bathroom upstairs. Now, I turned off the TV and decided to read something. About 1 hour into my book, I heared a loud bang. I ran upstairs to see "what the cat did again". To my surprise a found the bathroom door wide open when I knew I had closed it! After that I just freaked out and went downstairs and stayed there.

I've never believed in the paranormal or Ghosts or anything like that. I'm still scared about that. My cat never behaved that way again so in a way, it's comforting. So that's my story.
