Someone in the Doorway

This story happened before I was born. My brother was a few months old, he is now sixteen. My mother was at one end of the bed and my father was at the other end, they often sleep this way. My mother ,we'll call her Jill, nuged my father, we'll call him Henry, and said," Henry, there's someone in the doorway." He then said, " Go back to sleep, Jill." A few minutes later she nuged him in the side again and said," Henry, they're still there." He turned over from his stomach to his back and looked up real easily. He saw someone standing there. He made a light snore so they wouldn't know he was awake. He decided that if he laid there they might kill him and then attack my mother and my brother. So he rolled off the bed, landed on his feet, and made a dash for the door. He ran right threw the doorway and into the living room. He then proceeded to flip over the side of the couch. He searched all over the house but found no signs of a break in. We later learned that a man was killed in that house a few years before we moved in.
