This story regards the older brother (Steven) of a friend from high school.

Steven was on his way round to his best mates house to watch a football match. the quickist way to his house was via the motor way (i can't remember which one). about half an hour away from his friends house Steven's mate rang him up to tell him that he may be a little late because he was on his way home from asda with some drinks and the food, and that his wife would let Steven in if he got there before him. at this point Steven ran into a traffic jam on the motorway, and said he will probably be late as well; both of them carried on having a conversation.

Once the traffic started slowly moving again Steven told his friend that there had been an accident, his friend asked if steven could see what had happened. Once steven got within eye shot he told him tht a car had hit the barrier and flipped, and that there were paramedics loading a covered strecher into the back of an ambulance, his friend repied with a sigh and said what a shame. As Steven slowly drove past the wreck he was horrorfied to see that it was his friend's car, at the very moment he noticed the phone hung up.

It was Steven's friend who died that night, and the coroner report states that he died on impact; which was at least 20 minutes before he rang Steven.
