Title: Channeling Story
My Ghostly 8th Grade Experience
My name is Megan. I’m 17 and live in Yuma, AZ . My story takes place in March 2005 and I’m going to Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, PA. When I was in Philly I got to see the Liberty Bell and INDEPENDENCE HALL, that’s where it all happened. I was on a tour with my class and we were in the room where the Declaration of Independence was signed, if you’ve seen National Treasure you’ll know what I’m talking about. Anyway, the tour guide was talking to us about the room and which men like Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson would sit. I was standing by a window and as our guide kept rambling on, the voices around me were becoming very faint and I felt as if I wasn’t “there” anymore.
I couldn’t hear anyone and I felt like everyone left the room but they were still there with me. As this was happening I began to look at the tables and chairs and right in front of me the image of Ben Franklin began to appear. His appearance was at first a ghostlike mist but then he came into full body as if he was really there in the room. He doesn’t look exactly how you see him on a $100 dollar bill but he was kind of husky and his hair was very thin and had a salt n’ pepper color to it. I could even see the distinct designs on his cuff links and buttons on his clothes, his socks were either an earthy brown or charcoal gray I believe. I even saw Thomas Jefferson while good old Ben was laughing with the guy next to him I don’t know who it was exactly, Thomas was trying to talk to the other men about something and got mad and threw papers down on a table, but in a professional leader type of way. Then the room was filled with more men who most likely signed the Declaration. This probably happened in a good 2 minutes but it felt as if I was there longer, I had “came back” when I heard a friend of mine said my name and told me it was time to go. My family knows about this story and my dad definitely believes it really happened. And NO I DON’T DO DRUGS I’m a good kid if there are any skeptics out there. To anyone out there reading this please pass on my story to others and hopefully I’m not the only one with this type of paranormal experience, I guess our Founding Father’s were nice enough to let me in on their conversation.
