My husband and I were looking for our first home to buy. I remembered this one house as a kid and wanted to go look at it. My husband and I rode around for hours tring to find it. We never could find it so we decided to look elsewhere for our dream home. We saw this ad and for a home that was just what we wanted.

On September 14th we went and looked at it and fell in love. The owner informed us that his girlfriend had died several months before from a heart attack and it was too painful to stay. We put in an offer and within two days we had a contract. On October 11th 2006 we signed the papers to our first home.

While the owner was moving out we were talking and come to find out the house that I had loved as a kid was his home that had burned down 5 years before. I felt this was a sign that this house was meant for us.

After moving in almost instantly strange things began happening. I woke to my oldest son who was 11 years old son asleep on the floor beside my bed. He said that a woman appeared at the foot of his bed. I thought it was being in a new home. A few days later my other son who was 8 at the time was on the floor asleep along with my eldest son. They both claimed the same story and said their bedroom was scary. I assured them it was their imagination.

About two weeks later I met one of my neighbors. As we were talking the subject of the old owner came up. They informed me that the woman had died in the home and had been dead for a few days before he "realized that she was not sleeping". I was shocked. I assumed that she had died in the hospital. Come to find out that she died of a cocaine induced heart attack. The autopsy says overdose which resulted in a heart attack.

Things seemed to calm down and no other sightings were seen for about a month. Then when all the kids were at school and I was all alone in the house I heard the sliding glass door upstairs slam shut and someone running across the room. I was scared to death but still went and checked things out. All the doors were locked from the inside and no one was in the house. The noises have gotten louder over the years and more frequently but remain the same. Sliding glass door slam, and footsteps in that room along with someone running down the stairs. Whenever you take pictures there are orbs everywhere.

The final piece of the puzzle came when I decided to look up the woman's obituary. I was shocked and saddened at the same time. The womans name was Theresa Weldon and she died (Could not determine exact time of death so the date she was found) Sept. 11th 2006. Exactly 3 days before we looked at the house. We looked at the house the first day it was listed. We closed exactly one month after she died. I believe with all my heart he murdered her and made it look like an overdose. I want to help her so bad but do not know what to do.

In the past year and half she no longer scares us since we have always known her name we have talked to her often. She has a good sense of humor and now loves to lift the lid to the washing machine while it is running. She hides things but not for long just long enough for us to miss them. Her name is spoke of often and my kids actually like having her around. I think us coming in the home so soon after her death has been a comfort to her.

The past owner sold some of his furniture with the house. The bedside tables have secert compartments in them, there is also a secert capartment in the cabinets of the kitchen. As we were replacing the carpet in the dining room we noticed that the concrete had been cut out at one time and then someone filled it back in with different type of cement (it was done recently). There was a hole in one closet that went into the room that she passed in. I believe he used it to spy on her. According to him she was his girlfriend but they slept in different rooms and even had seperate living rooms.

Nothing about his story has made sense and done nothing but further convience me that he is a murderer. My son has also been shown a picture of Theresa and he claimed that was the woman he saw in his room. Two others that knew nothing of this story have seen her.

She has recently started making physical contact. She once lifted strands of my hair straight up and then dropped them and has tapped us on the shoulder. We also hear a baby cring and when we go and check, the baby is asleep. I think she knows I want to help her and wants to make contact with me. I have been told to ask questions and record them but I am afraid I will open doors that might need to stay shut.
