A young man named Mike wrote a story on this site about his experience at Fox Run Apartments. I found his story because I have done many searches over the years looking for anyone else like me, who has had any experiences at Fox Run Apartments. I contacted him and here are our emails... Mike,

Hi, I was surfing the web looking to see if I could find any stories on ghosts at Fox Run apartments, and I came across yours. I'm curious what building you lived in? I also lived at Fox Run apartments and the building I lived in I swear was haunted. The building I lived in was 10802 W75th Terrr. Was that your building?

yes yes yes i did live in that. im so glad to find someone who lived there too. noone believed me. ok i will be able to explain anything that happened if you tell me the phenomena that accured. um what i know that was reicent was that a person was murdered in that same building not to long ago. soo if you could email back telling me about the accurances i would be able to tell you if it happened to me and my dad. thatnk you and email back please. bye

Hi, you lived in the same building? I can't believe it. Well I lived there from 1981-1983. So this was possibly before the murder you refer to? Well many strange things happened. The feeling of being watched all the time, and voices mumbling. Ok so one night I was asleep in my bed, I woke up scared to death, I didn't know why, I have never felt that way before or since, I looked up and saw what looked like colored smoke? or something like mist, in the room, swirling around loosely the shape of a woman?. I was scared and have no idea why but I rolled over and put the covers over my head, I remember falling asleep while something tapping on my foot.

Another time I had a girlfriend over, and in the middle of the night while we slept, at the exact same time, she and I sat up in bed, I woke up as I sat up, I looked and she was sitting up too, she sat up and then she just fell back on the bed asleep, I thought it was weird, I layed back down and went to sleep. I get goose pimples thinking back on it.

One time after I had moved out, maybe a year later, I lived down the street, and needed to dry some clothes, all the laundry mats in the area were closed and I remember the basement door at 10802 was never locked, I took the clothes to my old building, went into the basement, put the clothes in the dryer, and was sitting on the machine waiting for the clothes to dry, after about 5 minutes, I started to get this weird feeling like I needed to get out really fast, I was feeling really weird kind of panicky, hard to describe, I just new I had to get out, so I took my wet clothes and got the heck out! Later trying to figure out what had happened I sort of felt like something was maybe mad at me for coming back, or recognized me from when I lived in the building before and was mad that I was in the building after moving out and wanted me out, but I don't know That was the last time I was there. Let me know some of what happened to you, I have some more stuff also. This is weird to know that someone else experienced strange things at Fox Run, did you live upstairs in 10802 W75th Terr? I lived in the room right at the top of the stairs was it 202?

ok yea i am freggin scared now the room i was living in was 202. holy shit. excuse my language but this is scary. ok so me and my dad were living there when i was maybe 4 or 5 and when i was there i would talk to the walls, i would wake upand run into my dads bedroom scared to death screaming that a girl came in my room and was trying to hurt me. a couple of times me and my dad would wake up in the middle of the night and we would hear a loud growling. thinkion it was just a dog we went back to bed then we remembered that dogs werent aloud in the building so we got freggin scared.

one night we were sitting in the bedroom and all of a sudden all the cabinates and the drawers opened up and everything flew out of them and onto the floor. there were a couple of times where the lights in the closet would flicker on and off. we would turn it off then it would turn on, and we would go back and forth with that. my dad wasnt married at the time when we lived there so he was dating some chick named shelly. so they were sitting on the couch and a deck of cards was sitting on the tv. one by one thwe cards dropped to the floor like in sixth sence, but this was before that movie came out. so she got freaked out and went into the bathroom and ran out screaming that she saw someone in there with her. her and my dad were srill dating but she refused to go in there again. so shit like that happened and we moved out in about 4 months of living there. yea so tell me if any of that happened to you. thank you

This is really strange, I almost can't believe that I'm talking to someone who lived in the same building, in the same room. I don't know any of the history of that building, but it would be interesting to find out what happened there. I remember waking up one morning and all the silverware was on the floor in the kitchen also. I always felt that whatever was there wasn't exactly friendly. I have goose pimples again, I felt like it wasn't just one person or thing haunting the place, I always thought it was a man, but then when I woke up that one night and saw what looked like a woman, I just figured it was more than one. Sometimes I did wake up and the closet light would be on and I swear I had shut it off. Did you move out because of the disturbances? Did you tell Fox Run about it? I wonder if any of them have heard about it from other people who lived there. I always new all these years that I lived in a haunted apartment, and hearing from you I feel has confirmed what I felt, that it was haunted. Do you have any ideas on what is haunting the place? Is it built on an old cemetary? Did people die in the building? I bet whatever was there, is still there, and thinking about it sort of creeps me out. This is so weird to know that and your Dad feel the same way as I do about that place. What are the odds of that? And finding out we lived in the same room, weird! Let me know what you think was going on there,

i have no idea what was haunting the p[lace all i know is that it was haunted and i am never going back. i think it was a murder scene for like 12 muerders because i mean there are alot of things wrong with that place. i mean ppl are still getting killed in that building like i said in one of the first emails. i know that the place is screwed up and no we didnt tell them what was goin on in fear that they would convict my dad,lol, but other then that whole thiog we told everyone else. well im goin to be out of town over the weekend so email me back whenever you get the chance. thatnk you. bye

It has been good to find out someone else experienced strange things in that building. Over the years I've basically put it out of my mind, and didn't really think about it alot. But I always did searches on the web to see if anyone else maybe had posted about it. Now I've been thinking about it more, and I wonder how I lived in the building for 2 years while this was going on. I guess after awhile I thought maybe it was my imagination, maybe that's how I rationalized it. I may do some investigating and see if I can find out anything. I do know that when I lived there it was in Shawnee Kansas. Shawnee was once inhabited by only indians, maybe Fox Run is built on an old indian burial ground or something like that. I'd like to find out the history. If I do find out any more on it, I will definately let you know. Feel free to email me anytime, it's been good talking to you.

Sometimes I think it would be fun to go there, run in the door and yell pardon my language "Fuck you Mr Ghost!" then run out, but I don't want it to follow me or get mad at me, so I probably won't. Oh also, I thought about it, my apartment was a one bedroom, yours was a 2 bedroom? so I must have lived in 201, yours was to the left at the top of the stairs? mine was directly at the top of the stairs. So if our two apartments were haunted that probably means the whold building was, cos the basement gave me bad feelings too.
