Aggressive Encounter

This occurred in approximately 1965, when I was 7 years old. My mom had recently died a horrible death from alcoholism at 35 yrs of age, and I was staying with her best friends. I shared a room with their 17 yr old daughter who was out that night. On a shelf above her bed there was a lamp which I used to love as when you pulled a chord under the shade music would play and small material fish would rotate in time around the shade while the light was on and it was lulling & lovely to watch. This little show & music would only last for a really short time, then you'd have to pull the chord to make it start again. one night, a few months after my mom's passing I was lying there feeling relatively secure & untroubled listening to the lamp, and I noticed that on this night it seemed to be going on for longer than usual, though no-one had come in to pull the chord. Then finally it did stop & I was just about to go & pull the chord again but just before I lefted the blankets up to get up there was an extremely violent push down on the bed to the point where I nearly fell out. Instinctively I curled up into a really tight ball into the corner of the wall then about a second later there was another equally strong push- followed by an absolute room-shattering two stamps on the floor in the room.
Now I am 50 yrs old & still this memory terrifies me now as much as back then, & I would really like to know if there may be an explanation for this. I really truthfully would know if this would have been imagined or not.
Thanks for the opportunity to have been able to express this.
Kind regards,
Kerry
