Sounds of the Night

i'm 15 and my little sister is 9 and i think we came in contact with a ghost from the civil war. It all happened on July 9 2007, it was late at night around 12:30 or 1:00 in the morning and i was laying in bed. i was watching TV when i heard an aggressive pound on my bedroom door. i held my breath and tried not to move. then i got over the shock and watched my TV somemore. i was watching TV for about 10 or 15 minutes when i could barely hear a cabinet opening and closing. i heard it about once every 30 seconds and the only thing i could think of was that there was someone in my house that didn't want us hear, or was trying to tell us something. i then turned off my stereo and TV and tried to listen to the noises and figure out where they were from but i couldn't. they soon stopped and i rolled over to go to sleep. i was almost asleep when i heard a shuffle of feet across my carpet and i was wide awake again and for the rest of the night. My sister on the other hand had seen what i hadn't. she told me that she was looking into the hallway form her bed and saw someone run past her door. she said she got up to see what it was and saw a man that looked young and seemed to be in the military. i honestly didn't know what to think.

she told me that a couple nights before this incodent accured she had seen a shadow of a women on the hall way wall. i think for now we are going to stay up later at night and try to see if we can track this ghosts patterns and try to figure out what it is and what it wants. for now, we have freaked ourselves out and can't even be in a room by ourselves, haha! thanks for reading we appreciate it!
