It all started back when we got our little girl home from the hosipital, she was 13 in a half months old. She had been in the hosipital sence she was born. Our daughter only had a 12 percent chance to live, and she did live. She is a fighter and she is the type that nothing is going to stop her.
Anyway, when we got her home she was on the vent, and on oxgen 24/7. She had a trach, because she couldn't breath on her own. We had her home about 8 months and we notice her looking up in the celling and look toward the walls and she would just smile and laugh, we would look to see where she was looking and never seen nothing.
One night tho i had cleaned her track site, gave her a breathing treatment and hooked her up on her vent for the night, and always made she her beeper was all on where in case her track would clog the beeper would go off to wake us up, because she would die if her track clogged and i didn't get her track cleaned out. It was a night mare for 4 years.
One morning i went in shut her feeds off and i was getting ready to start her breathing treatment, when i seen all kinds of white things all around her neck by her track. I was just pulling and getting all these white things a way from her track, when my husband said "what is all that", I told him i don't know, but it is every where. I got so scared that this stuff could had clogged up her track. My husband said "look at them things it's little white crosses", and sure enough it was. I told him where did they come from? And why was it all over her?
To this day all we know, that it had to be God or an angel letting us know that our little girl was going to be fine.
2 weeks later she came off her vent & oxgen, and 3 weeks later her track came out. She is now 7 years old and she is doing just fine, she is in first grade and she is doing very well, maybe to well. She makes all AA, and the teacher can not get over her, after all she has been threw. She still does not eat by mouth, I still have to feed her with a tube on a pump, but no one could ever tell it by looking at her. Our God has gave us an angel of our own, and that she is our angel!
