Old Hag Syndrome

One night while at home sound asleep in my newly constructed home. I awoke to the most scariest thing I have ever experienced in my life. I was by myself. I suddenly woke up while sleeping on my back and there was an old lady staring at me about a foot away from my face. She was very old and had many wrinkles on her face. I screamed and it seemed to take her by surprise. She floated back several feet and simply faded away.

I dont have to tell you how scared I was. I was 42 years old and what I saw made me scared like a child afraid of the dark. I got up and called my girlfriend who thought I was dreaming. It scared me so bad that I was crying.

I have heard about "old hag syndrome" but only after I experienced this and looked it up on the internet. I couldnt get the sense if this lady was good or evil. I have a feeling that it was evil. Although it never tried to hurt me in any way. All my life I have experienced weird things from the paranormal. but this one took the cake.

About 5 years before this ever happened I saw a demon walk up to my wifes side of the bed. To this day I blame that demon for my divorce. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Has anyone had a loved one start acting strange after a paranormal experience?
