Haunting, Ghost or Witchcraft

It's really hard to explain this story, but a lot of very weird occurrences have taken place, every since I moved into my apartment a year ago. My apartment is located on the 13th Floor, which I thought was very eerie, but since I'm very spiritual I told myself, I would just pray and ask for God to protect my home.

Although strange things have taken place, the most recent event, may have been one night, when I decided to sleep on the sofa in my living room, and around 3 or 4 am in the morning, these strange knocks where heard at my door, this happened two nights in a row. Being that the hallway in front of my door is lited, I can normally detect when someone is at my door, because I can see the person's shadow underneath my door, because of the large space under my door, after hearing the knocks there wasn't a sign of any person being at my door. I contacted my family and they stated these were tokens or signs.

Also, I have experienced many things in my house being moved around in my house and missing.

Another problem that I'm experiencing in my house, when I'm not home, is that someone continues to come into my home and cut threads from clothes, it's got so bad at one point, that I had to lock my under garments up in a suitcase, because I begin noticing that these two holes were being cut in all my underwear. I have contacted my leasing office and had my locks changed twice, but this problem still persists and I have on different occasions suspected that it may be someone in the leasing office, I have even wondered if the person may be attempting some form of witchcraft or hoodoo.

Another reason why I believe it's something demonic, because I keep finding different color threads and strings left on my floor and in the pocket of my clothes. Can someone please shed some light on these events, and please let me know if this is a haunting or some occult stuff?
