Can Someone Explain Why!

Hi, well I have something story to tell you in which I don't remember the details too much because it was many years ago.

I use to live with my mom and father and had my own room. Usually kids wake up in the middle of the night for no reason. In which I woke up that night. But the reason I woke up was of the sound of a dog barking. I opened my eyes and saw a dog in front of my bed barking right at me. YES it looked real too. I was so scared that I decided to close my eyes again but I still heard the barking. I screamed to call my mom but she didnt answer because she was sleeping my dad was too. The dog was still barking at me!

so you know that a bed has four sides one side of the bed was facing the wall one side of it the dog was barking then there was two more sides I decided to move the closest to the wall as possible and kept on screaming my mom's name! The dog was still there and NO I was not sleeping. I decided to get out of the bed from one of the sides and run as fast I can and so I did. I got to my mom's room and woke her up to tell her uf course se was sleeping and told me to join in the bed and that maybe I was just dreaming in which I WAS NOT!

I do not know what was this about. I still remember a bit of it its not scary but weird it actually was scary for me back then. If some one know what it meant please email me It's been years and I still look for a explanation I WAS NOT DREAMING!
