Black Death

I'm on prescription medication because of a number of medical conditions. well, one especially stressful day I was advised to take twice the dose I usually take and two prescription pain relievers. A very bad suggestion on the pharmacists part. So I'm lying in bed chatting on the computer with my fiance then nothing. I black out. The next thing I remember is waking up in an ambulance but not being able to see or move. I could hear the medics saying that my heart had stopped and I wasn't breathing.The only other thing I remember is the voices getting more distant and the blackness becoming more pronounced until I heard, felt, smelt, and saw nothing.

I woke up in the hospital a day later, a little woozy, confused but unharmed. I don't practice any religion so I'm not sure if I was in purgatory or hell. I will tell you one thing though, this occurrence has opened my eyes and changed my life. I will now appreciate every moment that I am alive and I will no longer fear death. I also Love my Fiance for getting help from 100 km's away and saving my life.
