I was about 15 years old at the time that this occured. I have a very acute type of sixth sense and things like this often happen to me.

I live in a rather large apartment building with two of my friends and my older brother. My friends had gone out for the evening so I was alone with my brother, Aaron who was 17 at the time. It was probably around 11:45 p.m. when we decided to turn in, my brother and I shared a room. I sleep in my bed while he sleeps on the floor.

I remember falling asleep shortly after him, only to be awakened about an hour later. I got up and looked around. Aaron was still lying on the floor sleeping peacefully. I had heard a stange sound coming from down the hall outside my room. It sounded like static. Puzzled, I got up and quietly walked past my brother into the hall.

The static had gotten much louder and I figured someone had left on the tv or the radio. As I walked down the hall I could make out words among the static. "Where did you go... why did you leave me... I waited for you..." By now I was thoroughly convinced someone had left the tv on. I shrugged and walked towards the noise thinking that I would smack my brother for leaving the tv on.

Suddenly I stopped dead, I tried to move but I couldn't. Some force was holding me back and I felt something pass through me. It was cold and I had a strange image flash through my mind, but I couldn't make out what it was. It was in monochrome and very brief. I shook my head and looked towards the door beside me, it was slightly ajar. I could see a faint light emerging from the crack and the static noise was much louder now. The words mingled with the static became much more clear too. "I waited, I waited, I waited... you have forsaken me!" I had regained use of my body and reached out a slightly trembling hand towards the door knob. Curiousity had the best of me and I wasn't really afraid too badly.

When I opened the door I nearly gasped. There was a woman sitting in the middle of the floor, her knees were tucked underneath her and her long hair was obscuring her face. She was so pale and thin, I felt bad for her and took a step forward. As soon as I did her head snapped up and she stared directly at me. I froze. Her eyes were so cold looking and she had given me such a piercing stare. She didn't say anything at first, only stared. I stared back. Suddenly she spoke, "He left me... all alone... to die..." I couldn't make sense of it. Who was she? I didn't know her, and she didn't look like she was from around here.

I stumbled back into the hall and screamed for my brother. She immediately vanished and the static noise stopped. My brother ran into the hall and asked me what was wrong. I shook my head, still not sure. I went to sleep a little while later. Ever since that day I have regularly heard static noises coming from that room around 12 o'clock. I have even gone into that room to see if the woman was there, but I've never seen her since. sometimes I can hear her or even feel her presence nearby, but I never saw her again.
