Red Eyes Glowing In The Dark!

This,is a true story.It was July 1987,when I was just fourteen years old,I went to get our cat(Sasha)out of my mom's closet.I should mention,that I was relaxed,calm and not scared to go upstairs by myself.

I turned on the light before I went upstairs. And,I've done this before,many times.There is only aliitle light coming from the hallway into the room but,not into the closet. Anyway,I opened the closet door and called to the cat and she came out of the closet and was purring and happy (like,always).

As,I was just sitting down for a couple of minutes near the opened closet door and stroking the cat,I saw a red flash fling through the darkness in there. I just thought,it was my imagination. Suddenly,two big red glowing eyes,opened up! These eyes,were alot bigger than a humans eyes or even an animals!

I was frightened and worried that,whatever it was, might attack me! But,thank goodness it didn't. I then, said,"Hello?" "Who's there?" "Can you talk?" "Hello?" There was no response at all. Whatever it was,it was making no noise or movement sounds. It just STARRED at me constantly! And,I did stare back at it! I then,decided to get the cat that was on my lap to look at it,too. At first, the cat didn't look strait towards it and then the second time she saw it! I never saw a animal act so SCARED! She scratched me alittle on the hand and ran out of the closet,bolted down the hallway,ran down the stairs,ran down another hallway and went into the kitchen and hid under the table.

I yelled and,said,"Sasha,wait for me!" And,I ran not far behind her! My mother was in the kitchen washing some dishes and,she asked me,why Sasha was acting scared. I just told her, she got scared when I suddenly,opened the closet door to fast. I couldn't tell my mom what had happened,she might think I'm looney!

But,after I calmed down within a half hour, I told my mom EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENEED!She believed me,and we stayed downstairs until,my father came home alittle later on that evening. My mom,told him this,with me,present at the time. He checked that closet and EVERYWHERE ELSE IN THE HOUSE(including outside)! There was NOTHING TO BE SEEN! I never saw it,AGAIN!
