My Latenight Visitor
From: M.A. (macasselman1979@yahoo.com) Story type: Ghost Location: my bedroom Source: Form Submission
This story is completely true...This happened about 5 or 6 years ago. I think I was pregnant with my daughter. I had gotten into an arguement with her father earlier that evening over the phone. I had decided that it may be best for me to go to bed. It was about 10:30pm or so when I crawled into bed and turned off the light. I was just starting to drift off to sleep when I heard my bedroom door open, and I felt someone sit on the foot of my bed.
Thinking it was my daughter's father I started to talk to him. Never rolling over to turn on the light or even open my eyes. Then I felt what I can only describe as a hand of a person resting on my leg. And I continued to talk to him, and I asked him "why did you decide to come over after all?" but to my surprise no response. I lay there for several minutes and still with no response, I started to become a bit preterbed at the fact that he would not answer me. So I rolled over and flipped on the light, only to see that there was no one there, but there was a perfect indentation in the blankets where someone had been sitting. So I flipped off the light and laid back down. Then it felt as though someone was pushing on my mattress, (the way some one would if they were mattress shopping to see how firm or soft the mattress was.)and this continued for awhile. Finally I said "I know you are here. I know that you are not going to hurt me. So if you would please just stop so that I can go to sleep, that would be great!"
The pushing on my mattress stopped. But it still felt like someone was there sitting on my bed with me. And even the next morning when I woke up, the indentation was still there.
The next day I told my family and nothing was really said about it. Later that evening we went to a local raceway and my mother told a friend of the family my experience. She said that it was probably my gardian angel, or spirit guide or maybe even someone who had passed on that I was close to sensing that they were somehow needed. Whatever it was, it was truely an experience I will never ever forget. It has never happened again, but I wouldn't mind if it did. :)
