Mom Loved Haunted Houses

in 1963 we moved into a big house in jeannette, pa. from the day we moved in we all knew that something was not right. in one bedroom myself and 3 sisters shared a huge bedroom. the odd thing about this room was winter or summer the room temperature was always around 40 degrees. the radiators would get hot but the room never got warm. momused to keep pies in there in the winter it was that cold.

one night i woke up and at the foot of my bed was a large closet, as my eyes focused i saw a man hanging from the ceiling. i screamed and my mom ran in, she saw it to. when she turned the light on it was gone. the next day she told me that 3 men killed themselves in the house. mom always liked living in houses that she thought were haunted, that's a scary thought for a 11 year old. she always said the dead can't hurt you it's the living.

many things happened in that house, light's would turn off and on. it did not matter who was there. we lived there for 3 long years. i was glad when we moved, but as luck would have it we moved into a old drs. office and thats when i found out that spirits liked my mom because she was psychic. i found out later i to was. mom had 10 children and only 2 of us are like her. it's nice in a way but when you see something happening to someone you love it can be heart-breaking. i truly admire people who are not afraid to tell of their encounters with ghosts.
