Green Flashes

when I was in 8th grade, a few buddies and I were having a sleepover at a friend's house. After a fun-filled night of pranks and doorbell ditching in his neighborhood we decided to head back to his house. It was well after midnight and as we were walking along the road, just before we got to his house, something caught my attention about 30 or 40 yards ahead. I noticed a very vague green light that extended about the length of the road. It was flashing sporadically. For a second I thought it was just me, so I asked my friends if they could see it and sure enough they could too. The light continued to flash in seemingly random sequences for at least a minute or so and then stopped. We were a little nervous so we went inside. My friend said he had seen that happen before in that exact spot.

I completely forgot about this experience until the other day I was talking to my sister who is a couple years older than me. Somehow the topic of our conversation shifted to ghosts. I told her about what I saw in my friend's neighborhood. She had friends in that neighborhood as well and said she remembered seeing that exact same phenomena in that exact same place.
