Friendly Ghost?

I used to be skeptical about ghosts and spirits. It's not that I didn't believe in them; it's more that I had to experience something for myself to actually know for sure. About 12 years ago I was at my grandmothers house with my aunt. My grandparents had gone out of town, and my aunt had asked me to come stay with her and the kids. She told me there was a ghost in the house and didn't like to be up at night by herself. Rolling my eyes, I agreed to go stay the night with her. At about midnight my aunt and I were in the kitchen at the island playing cards. She sat on the side of the kitchen and I sat on the side that peers down the hall of the kids bedrooms and bathroom.

Out of the corner of my eye, I notice the bathroom light go on and the bathroom door shut. I thought that one of the kids had gone into the bathroom.

I heard the toilet flush, the door open, and the light go off in the bathroom; but no kid came out. I thought that maybe I had just looked away longer than I had thought. I walked back to the rooms and seen that all the kids were asleep peacefully.

Once again I go and sit down to play cards with my aunt. And again I see the light in the bathroom go on and hear the door shut. This time I look at my aunt and tell her to watch. We both watch down the hallway. And again I hear the toilet flush the door open and the light go off. Still no kid comes out. We both looked at eachother and my aunt basically said.."I told you so."

That was the first time I had an encountrer of anykind. It opened my eyes and my mind to the supernatural world. Be a skeptic if you like, they are out there whether you believe in them or not.
