Awake or Dreaming?

Okay I'm going to start out by saying that I am not completely at all sure if this was a dream or if it was really real. I can vaugly remember the incident but i can remember the main details.

Okay so it started out a normal evening: I did all my homework, watched all my favorite shows, my mom came home early (which she rarely does) and we hung out and just chatted until about 10 - 10:30 pm. Then i went upstairs got ready for bed (washed my face, brushed my teeth ect.) and i walked to my room and went to sleep.

Okay this is where the freaky part begins. For the past couple of nights I have had dreams about ghosts, demons, and murders. It's really starting to freak me and my best friend out. In every single dream that i have somebody or something always says to me "Leave! Run! Get Out Now!" I honestly don't know what it is supposed to mean. But anyways.

So all of a sudden i wake up (I'm not sure if i dreamt it or if it was real) But there was this creature laying beside me. It wasn't laying the full length of my bed it was just up by my face. All I remember about it was it had a lot of arms or legs i guess and a really creepy looking face. Almost demon like. It had horns and very pointed sharp looking teeth. I remember waking up screaming or just sitting up and screaming. My mom came running upstairs and kept asking me "what's wrong what's wrong?" she told me this morning that i wouldn't tell her i was just bawling hysterically and she didn't know why. She said all i kept saying was "blood. blood. blood. lots of blood. demon. blood. blood." she told me i just kept repeating that over and over again while bawling uncontrollably.

Now this really freaked me out when she told me this because I'm not sure if this was a dream or if it was real because it felt like it was really there and i was really awake. I'm not quite sure though. I'm just going to keep it as it was a dream not real. But I really vaguely remember it though. Only little parts. I wish i could remember more but i just can't. It was a very creepy thing to hear about from your mom that you did and you don't even remember it. WIERD.
