My Grand Grandsmother or Who?
From: Story type: Ghost Location: my house Source: Form Submission
I lived in Canada until I was 10 and than I moved to the US. When I lived in Canada I was a little girl and my grand grandmother who was about 87 at the time asked me to promise to her that I would come to her funeral, since I didn't really understand was she wanted from me I just said ok just to be able to go play outside. Than we moved to the US.
My grand grandma died an about two years later. Since it was too expensive at the time and we (my family and I) had no possible way to go to the funeral. You know how you have to light a candle on the day of a person's death? Well my mom did light a candle and put it my room on the air conditioner. The window that the air conditioner was in had curtain on them.
When I was going to sleep the candle was still brightly shining. The scary part is that the shadow the candle was giving onto the curtains looked like a human body, the head, neck, shoulders, arms, etc. The body was standing in a still position even though the drapes were moving a little from the breeze. As any normal person would I told myself I was crazy and hid under the covers hugging my plushy minni mouse (if she was alive she would have probable choked to death) and forced myself to fall asleep.
I told my mom and she tried
to calm me down by saying that my relative wont harm me, they are there
either to protect or just there doing the original things they did when
they were alive. But what if it's not my grangrandmother?
