It Wasn't a Dream
From: Gweneth Arment (Hooie44@yahoo.com) Story type: Ghost Location: Globe, Arizona in an old apartment Source: Form Submission
When I was 16 (I'm 45 now)I went to babysit for a couple. Sandy and Rick. They had a baby which was about 6 months old. There apartment was really old. The ones where the bed comes out of the wall. It was in the lower part of the building complex. Like a basement. I remember being kind of scared being there alone with the baby. As the baby was sleeping, I laid on the couch with my head up on the arm rest like a pillow. I felt something pushing me down hard against the couch. It was a man as a white figure, leaning over me pinning me to the couch. I know my eyes were open. As he was pinning me down, he was breathing really hard in my ear. I could feel his breath in my ear. I tried to push myself up and could'nt. It felt like an eternity. When I relized I was awake, Rick and Sandy were on the bed that pulled out of the wall sitting up and looking at me as I'm on the couch. They asked me if I was alright. I was so scared. I told them yes. I couldn't sleep the rest of the night.
I know it was a ghost. I just know it was. I'm 45 years old now and I
can't forget what it felt like. It was real. I can't shake it. Freaky
stuff.
