The End of the World

Last year when I was 11 I spent the night at my friend's house one
Saturday. Since my best friend is a boy, I shared a room with his
little sister. I woke up in the middle of the night because someone was
carrying me into his room but I was like, completely unable to move the
entire time! (by the way my best friend's room was being repainted and
carpeted and stuff so he was sharing a room with his brother at that
time) Whoever or whatever was carrying me set me down onto his floor
and I fell asleep within seconds. I woke up a few minutes later and saw
a woman dressed as a stewardess. She was biting her nails until she
leaned in and whispered, "The world will end on July fifth, 2004, at
3:05 pm." and I fell asleep again. I woke up in the morning in his
sister's room but the impression of his new carpet (it was stiff and
left a mark on your skin if you sat on it) was still on my arms and
legs. I forgot completely when he woke up and we had breakfast and hung
out and stuff but a week later, on July fifth, at exactly 3:05 pm, my
aunt's friend, a stewardess, died when she fell off of the stairs
leading from the cockpit to the landing place and basically broke her
head in half.
