They're Baaack!
From: Mel (Meldog1973@aol.com) Story type: Ghost Location: My Home in Mass Source: Form Submission
It's been a long time... but I think they're back. My house has always been haunted with activity ranging from electronic peculiarities to apparitions. When we got our new cat, everything stopped completely, until now. First, about two months ago, there were four or five nights were I would get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.
Once in there (with the light off), I would see "outlines" of shapes is the best way I can describe it, white outlines, moving all around the room. One was a cat (my poor dead cat, I assumed), others were not distinguishable. Some were tall, like people, and it scared me. I'm not afraid of "my" ghosts, I actually liked having them around, but this occurred at a time when I was half asleep, defenseless.
Up until that point, I had no idea whether it was my mind or not, until I asked out loud for them to stop - and they did. The bathroom is now quiet when I go in there in the middle of the night. There was also the visitor who came into the bathroom (last summer sometime, I think), a person who's shape was blacker than the black of the room and blocked out the light from the window. Then, he communicated through my sleeping husband and told me who it was (read my earlier story).
Well, now we appear to have someone hanging out in our foyer. The foyer is about 12 - 15 feet long and maybe 6 feet wide. It opens up into our living room via an archway. Right next to the archway is our computer, and a half wall, where the new cat likes to sit and where we play with him.
Again, last summer, I was sitting on the computer and the cat jumped up on the wall. I just didn't feel like playing, but apparently, he had other ideas. He started meowing quite loudly and making growling noises and jumping into the air and attacking the post that separates the half wall from the archway. I just figured he was being a freak - you know how cats are - don't try to explain anything they do!
He began doing this a lot, almost every single night around the same time (between 6pm and 9pm), so I decided to take a couple of pictures of the area and him to see what came out. I got two interesting pictures (out of about 40): both of the deer head in the foyer with one giant orb next to it. This still goes on almost every night. I think someone is coming back to play with the cat. As I might have mentioned before, he's a bit of a bad-*ss, and likes to play rough, so he really goes at whatever he sees coming at him. This is no exception, just invisible!
Again, about two weeks ago, I was sitting at the computer, and the cat was sitting calmly in the chair in the corner behind me, when suddenly, I heard one of those small super-balls come bouncing over. It sounded like it was dropped from at least a few inches off the floor, not as if it were rolling. I heard BUM....BUM.....BUM...BUM..BUM.BUMBUMBUMBUM, you know what I mean?
I looked back and saw the ball bouncing out from the corner of the room (near where I got the orb pics). Normally, the balls are kept on the floor because the cats like to knock'em around at will, but this definitely didn't START bouncing like that on the floor!
My other cat was nowhere to be seen, and Nate was sitting in the chair looking over at it. I asked my hubby if he had placed the ball on the shelf in that corner, but he said he did not. It was VERY strange!!
Finally, for the past few nights, I have felt someone touching my head as I tried to sleep. This just started, so I'll keep you posted. Last night, when I felt it, I asked for a massage because I had a headache - but I didn't get one ={ haha!!
Thanks, as always for reading. I'm glad my ghosts are back!!
