Talking with Daddy

My Uncle died of cancer when his daughter and I were a few months old. I don't really remember much of him. My aunt was a young mother, with her first child, and after her husband died, she was really scared about what would happen.

A few months after my uncles funural, my aunt and gramma began to pack away some of his things, as my cousin got older, they planned to give some of his things to her as keepsakes. As they were packing the things my aunt cried. Because she was crying, they didn't answer the phone when it rang a few seconds later. The answering macheine picked up and they heard my uncle talking into the macheine. He said "Stacey everything will be alright." then he said he loved her and hung up. You can emagine the shock of my aunt and gramma.

When my cousin got older and learned to talk and her mom was driving in the car with her in the backseat. She heard my cousin, Kaylee talking to somebody. She asked her who she was talking to Kaylee replied by saying she was talking to her daddy. Her mother was terrified because her little daughter was claiming to be talking to her deceased father.

My cousin suposively kept having conversations with her dad until around the time that her mom met another guy. Kaylee then called him daddy and the conversations with her biological father stopped. makes you wonder...
