Just almost last year, my friend, Patrick, died. He drowned, June 3rd. I always felt he was with me after his death... I could feel his presence everywere, so I didn't like to be alone.

One day, I was playing on our computer, and my family decided to go boating. They asked if I wanted to come, I thought about it, but said no. This was the first time I wasn't scared of being alone. After they left, I just suddenly got tired of being on the computer. So, I got off, and went to sit on our couch. Our couch is in the living room, and our living room is right by the stairs. The strange thing was, I didn't even turn on the TV, which I usually keep on because the noise or voices make me feel less alone. I just sat on our couch, and in the corner of my eye, I saw him. Patrick was peering over the stairs. I could see his hand, some of his face, and I think some of his pant. But when I actually turned my head to look at him, there was nothing there. There wasn't even something for me to mistakenly THINK it was Pat. But, I still wasn't afraid, startled, but not afraid. I think it was symbolic though. It looked like Pat was hiding from me, but still watching, so I think it was his way of saying "You might not be able to see me, but I will always be watching you."

The other thing that happened with Pat, was when I was biking down a backtrail. I was getting to a point were the backtrail I was on would merge with both another trail, and the road (road, not street. There was no pavement.), when I heard a voice call, "Timmy..." It was kinda like how people from South Park say Timmy (or, Timmy from South Park does), but squeaky. This was how Pat used to call me. I got freaked out, so I took the road instead of backtrail. When biking to the road I heard it again, but farther away this time...

Just recently Pat saved me, but I'll tell about it later.
