My Friend on the Porch

Okay, before I start, I want to say this was all told to me by my mother and various other relatives and family friends. I know this sounds like every other story, but I DO think I have a sixth sense. My great grandpa was a Shaman (I live in Alaska, we probably still have Shamans and stuff here), so I think THAT has sometyhing to do with it. I am a guy, and my story takes place when I was 2.

My mom and me were usually alone when I was younger, and Ashton was just born a month after I turned 2, so I was always looking for some attention, and some new friends. I'd always seem to be playing on the porch, just bouncing my ball and playing by myself. Nobody really thought anything of it.

When I was playing on the porch one day, my mother asked, "Who are you playing with?" My reply was, "My friend." My mom then asked, "What friend?" "My friend who lives on the porch." Was all I said. My mom never though anything of it. Pobably just an imaginary friend, right? I mean, with Ashton just born I needed attention from someone!

Now, before I start with my this next sentence, I have to say something about my mom. She had shoulder-length hair. Don't worry, you'll see why I you need this later. Now, my mom always had friends over. When one of her friends was over, I was playing with my friend, and she asked me what I was doing. I just gave her the same responses I gave my mom. But there was one question my mom didn't ask... "What does your friend look like?" My reply was, "He wears glasses, and has hair like mommy." Now, that may not seem like much to you, but this freaked my mom and her friend out a LOT. A person who commited suicide and used to live here wore glasses, had shoulder-length hair, and ALWAYS was on the porch.

But my story dosen't end here. My grandpa is very superstitious(Spelling Error?), and came over to bless our house. When he was in the prosses of this, I came up to my mom and said, "Mom, my friend says he's sorry." My mom asked, "Sorry for what?" And I told her, "Sorry for scaring you." Now, I was only 2, maybe 3, and so that REALLY freaked out my mom.

My mom also told me that when she was in the basement, she would see one of my rubber bouncy balls bouncing by itself. Another time I came up to my mom and told her, "My friend says he's going to get Ashton." THAT freaked her out more than ANYTHING. Nothing out of the ordinary happened to her though... Although I DO think my "Friend" might've dropped her on her head now... Also, I still live in the same town.

A couple years ago, I asked the new owners if they'd seen anything strange. One said they'd always see someone go into another room out of the corner of their eye, wheile another one says they'd always have things being moved w/o her seeing it. Well, NOW that's my story, byes!!!

(P.S. I'm sorry if my grammar or spelling is bad!!! E-Mail me for any questions! I'm turning 14 tomorrow! Not important... Just exciting for me...) 02/20/04()4:23 p.m.
