Just a Computer Error?

I have had my share of unexplained experiences in the past, but this
one happened last night, between the 20th and 21st of November. One of
our cats got hit by a car two weeks ago, and we (my husband and I)
buried him in the woods near our home, next to where we buried another
of our cats, that passed away from a similar accident two years ago.
Among the remaining three cats is the brother of the latest traffic
victim. He is quite precisely six months old, and VERY active, as was
his late brother. The other two cats were alseep, and my husband works
nights at a retirement home, so the remaining cat brother and I were
alone in the study. I was listening to mp3's while I was working on my
computer, when after a while I thought I'd turn the music off. I closed
winamp, and the sign on the activities panel at the bottom of the
screen disappeared. Not so the music. Computer error, I thought, and
used the Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Winamp was not among the active processes. I
heard "Satellite of Love" and "Perfect Day" before I came to my senses
and re-started the computer. I called my husband at work, and he said
he'd never heard of this thing happening to anyone, but he was nice
enough not to tell me I should be committed. All the while, the
remaining six-month-old cat is playing with something I percieved as
thin air.
