Green Light

I dont normally believe in the stories i hear or the ones that i've read, but of course i've always LIKED to believe that the paranormal and the supernatural were real in this time and world. But after a strange occurence, in my own home, and with my two friends as witnesses as well, all of us seeing the exact same thing... my thoughts have somewhat wavered, and my beliefs have changed dramatically. After all, who couldn't believe something there own eyes had seen?

It was during the summer, i think, almost two years ago. I was with my two best friends, Ashley and Amanda, and we were having a little get-togther sleep over thing before school started. It was probably around 3AM or maybe later, when we saw it... all night i had freaked them out telling them a bunch of fake stories about skeletons that were gonna drop through the ceilings and attack us, and because my house is over 70 years old, and is really DARK (like pitch black) at night, we were freaking ourselves out.

Anyway, geting to the point... After a while, a silence kind of over took us, and we just sat there curled up in our blankets and pillows just staring with out eyes open at the pitch black hallway. I cant really explain it... it's just, this green light appeared to me. It didnt fade in or flash in, it just kinda was, and i didnt think... there were no thoughts in my head, i just stared at it... and then it was gone. Me and my friends didnt talk about it right after that, but i remember we did eventually talk about it, in silent whispers, "what was that?" "Did you see it?" Our house doesnt have any kind of night lights or anything, that would expplain a green glow to suddenly appear, so i really have no other explanation than something supernatural or paranormal...

It's been over 2 years since it happened and yet the image and the empty feeling i had still hasnt disappeared from my mind. It's as clear as if i just saw it yesterday, and the same goes with my friends. Sometimes we get together at my house, in the exact same spot, and we stare at the hallway hoping we could see it again... but it never comes back.

I'm thinking it's a ghost of some sort, or who knows, maybe even an angel or an alien. I suppose there's no real way of determining the answer unless it appears to me again, and i have sense enough to go and touch it instead of being completely void of thought... i wish it would, i'd really like to see that green light...
