Ghostly Ball of Light

The year was 1988 I was working as a dishwasher in The Galley Resturant in my home town of Brighton ,Ont. Canada. I was in high school at the time and this was my summer job. It was a stormy night (as most ghost stories are) it was thundering and the sky was a blaze with long streaks of lightning.

It was after the dinner time rush a quieter night. There were about 20 patrons in the dining room, when all of a sudden a slow moving ball of light appeared in the far corner of the room. It floated slowly over the heads of the amazed customers. It made it's way through the dining into the back area of the resturant. One of the waitesses had to move out of it's way as another overfilled a cup of coffee as she was watching it. I was sitting (taking a break) on a milk carton in the dishroom, as it came through and stopped over my head. I could feel my hair move as I looked up at it. It was a glowing greenish yellow and the size of a small melon.

It made its way through the dishroom and out a small window. what was that everyone said? Did you see that? we couldn't believe our eyes.
