Devil Dog

Well this is a story that my father told me of an event that happened when he was a young boy. He told me that his parents and him were riding around in a dark wooded area, his dad had been drinking alot, well his parents had been arguing all that day. All the arguing soon escaladed to violence and my grandfather began hitting on my grandmother. Dad said he tried to stop him but my grandfather was out of control because of all the alcohol. He was all over the road swerving from side to side. He then stopped got out of the truck and walked behind it to use the bathroom, when all of sudden he could feel and hear something breathing behind him. He turned around only to see this huge black dog with the reddist eyes just staring at him and growling. All he could do was stand there in total shock. He then closed his eyes and began to pray, turning back towards the truck door he walked back got in and drove home not saying another word or taking another drink. My grandmother and father didn't find out what had happened till the next day, when my grandfather apologized for what he had done, and then told them what he had seen!! "THE DEVIL" So was it the DEVIL or was the good LORD simply teaching my grandfather a lesson!
