An Angel Watching Over Me

It is nice to read about other peoples angel experiences and I thought it only fair to add my own, about 12 and a half years ago my flatmate and I had been driving around for the better half of two hours doing errands and shopping {she was driving i was the passenger}, as we approached a set off lights i heard a very stern but caring mans voice telling me to "put your seatbelt on {i then realised that i had not had it on the whole 2 hours} I turned to my friend while putting my seatbelt on and asked her if she had heard that voice, as i looked up i saw this car heading for us on our side of the road,,, i dont remember the impact but i remember floating up into the air and then floating back down to the ground landing in between a powerpole and a tree, i looked over to my friend and asked her if she was ok, she said she was a bit sore but thought she was ok, my neck was sore and my tummy was sore too, i presumed it was from the seatbelt, as we tried to open our doors we realised that there wasnt enough room we were that tighly fit between the powerpole and the tree.

We both climbed out of our windows and by then people were coming to see if we were okay, someone had called the police as the other driver [who was also okay] smelt of alcohol,, when the police arrived and started to take statements it was then that I truly realised how blessed i was,, there happened to be a tow-truck driver behind us and another tow-truck driver behind the car that hit us,, both mens statements were that the other driver was at fault and that he crossed the centreline hitting us with that much force that our car had the left ground flew about 3-4 feet in the air and was heading striaght for the powerpole in then stopped in mid air and turned a few degrees {as if being held by a huge hand} and placed us slowly in between the powerpole and tree, and that we must have had someone watching over us. I agreed. I said a silent prayer of thanks to the lord, not only did my guardian angel tell me to put my seatbelt on but he/she guided our car to safety.

about 2 months later I found out i was 3 months pregnant with my now 12 year old son,, i realised then that not only did my guardian angel save me and my flatmate but also my unborn baby{i would have been 4 weeks pregnant at the time of the accident} i began to cry,, the shock of it all hit me,,i again gave thanks to the lord for watching over me,, my flatmate,,and my baby,, and to my guardian angel.
