I have always had the talent to see ghosts and experience other worldly things. I take them in stride now, and just figure it's another talent like drawing, or writing. I have always had strange experiences as long as I can remember.

The most current now is a ghost I call George. I don't know why that name sticks in my head, but I'm pretty sure that's what his name is. I work as an offset printer and spend many hours on the weekend and late nights getting stuff out in time for deadline. I first noticed George about four years ago. I would always see something out of the corner of my eye, turn to look and nothing would be there. This went on for some time. I noticed he would only come around certain hours, every once in awhile during the day, but not often. He would usually appear between 10 and 12 PM.

One time I was running a press and it felt like someone was running across the room and jumped right next to me. I could feel a disturbance in the air, like a fan. Very early in the morning He will start banging on the walls, very loudly, I dismissed this as air in the pipes, but we don't have that kind of a heating system. My employer one time said that he arrived around 5 AM in the morning and he felt someone hit him across the back a couple of times , he turned around and no one was there. He was also at a loss to explain why sometimes there is very loud banging on the walls when no one is open for buisness in the other units.

The first and only time I saw George, I was next to my press (it was very early in the morning} and felt a presence, when I looked up, I saw him clear as day standing in the door way of the pressroom. He looked to be about anywhere from 28 to 35 years of age, about 5"9 to 6" foot tall, he had a beard, like a vandike, and he had brown hair. Sort of on a slim side, although he wasn't real skinny. Just as quickly as I saw him he vanished.

He also likes to play tricks sometimes, a couple of weeks ago I was running my 1250 offset press and I watched as the safety swich went in by itself which turns off the press. My brother who I just got a job for him at the shop, I never mentioned George to him, told me he can see something out of the corner of his eye standing in the doorway. Then I told him all about George and some of the tricks he likes to play.

Also a few times people in the next unit would ask my boss what all the banging on the walls was all about, so I know it's not my imagination. Too many people have encounted George even though they may not be aware of it.

Tonight I just got off the late shift again, and George was banging on the walls again. I just tell him out loud that I'm sorry for disturbing his peace and quiet, but I really have to get this stuff done and I be gone in a couple of hours, every one asks me if I'm afraid of him , but I'm not, he's been around all this time and he hasn't hurt me yet. Plus he'll stop his pranks when I tell him to leave the presses alone. But I'm so used to having a ghost in my life somewhere it's old hat. I even say good night to him when I shut off the lights and lock up the shop. Good old George, sometimes I think he's even looking out for me.
