Only the Dog Could See It

I was staying with my friend and her family at her aunties house while her auntie was on holiday. Everything was normal until one night. My friend was asleep in one bed and i was lying awake in the other. When suddenly one of the dogs ran into the room and started barking at the bed my friend was asleep in. She kept this up for about ten miniutes then suddenly ran out of the room yelping. I ran after her and found her with scratches on her face.

The next morning i found out that her auntie had a cat which didnt particulary like that dog. The cat died a few years ago and her auntie has often felt her hop up onto her lap or rub against her legs.

The dog must have seen her on my friends bed and got scratched. (the poor cat probably just wanted a bit of peace)
