My Nan's Visit

This happened in 1999. I was going through a divorce and had started to see my now new husband. At the time we decided to just see each other when we felt like it, go out for drinks and for company. I knew from the start he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with but it was different for him. He had split up from his girlfriend the day we got together and was still hurting. He says now he somehow felt he could talk to me about anything which is still true now. He just needed time to get over that relationship so I thought I could give him that time and wait.Anyway, I went to bed one night and went straight to sleep but then somebody got into bed behind me and put their arms around me. I was terrified as a few weeks before I had what I can only explain as a crowd of people having a party in my bedroom one night.One of those was really frightening me.I have no idea who they were or why they picked on me and I needed somebody to come to my house to have it cleansed. But going back to that other night, I woke up to feel this person? hugging me and I heard them saying "Don`t worry, everything will be alright." I felt so calm suddenly realising it was my grandmother talking to me and why she had come to me that night. You see I had realised from the day I first set eyes on my husband that he was the ONE and that was long before we got together but I never thought he`d look at me twice because for a start I`m ten years older than him and I was still married at the time and he was in his relationship.

Of course, my nan was right even if I doubted it sometimes. All I had to do was think of that night and everything was fine. We finally got married last year and we still talk about anything and everything. And we are very happy.
