A Miracle from God

I was with a lot of my really close friends from church at an activity called Relay For Life, held by the American Cancer Society. We had finished our Luminary Walk and stood in a circle, hand in hand, praying for everyone who had survived cancer, and everyone who had not. We also prayed for a close friend of ours. She has been diagnosed with cancer about a year ago and the doctors had said that the cancer may have come back. Our friend said she would call us the minute she found out if the cancer had returned. She said she would call us around about five o'clock. As it started to become later and later and we did not receive a call, we became panicky. As we stood there on the field, praying, we asked God to just help our friend get through this hard time, and to let her call us. As soon as those words were said, we heard a cell phone begin to ring. We all jumped at the sound as one of the adults grabbed her cell phone. It was our friend. Not only was she on the other line but she was in the same place we were. We continued praying as our friend approached us. We soon found out that she was free of cancer forever. Her cancer was gone! I think this was a sign from God, a miracle in its self. I'll never forget that day. I saw God's power that day, and I'll never forget it.
