Is This the Presense of a Ghost?
From: Denise (pinkdenise@hotmail.com) Story type: Ghost Location: At home Source: Form Submission
These two 'events' happened last weekend in my room at home. I share a flat in a building originally built around 1890 in North London, UK. I am a little sceptic about ghosts as such but I at the weekend two things happen which I cannot explain at least not scientifically anyway.
I was sitting on my bed and a 'distinct' piece of air breezed across my face, it was icey cold but didn't last long. I noticed this but didn't think it was a 'ghost' at this point. But later, waking up after passing out earlier fully clothed and with lights on etc. I felt the 'presense' of someone sitting on my bed looking out of the window - this presense felt male and strangely calming on the whole. I was prepared to visually see a possible spirit and silently asked this presense to 'show itself'. But nothing happened. I thought if ever faced with a potential ghost I would be terrified, firstly as I didn't believe they existed and secondly through lack of 'true' knowledge thought that they might 'get me' as per most horror films. Could this be a possible ghost? No-one else in the flat has felt anything as of yet.
As far as I can understand there may be two possible explanations one it this is a ghost from this particular building and the other is that is it a ghost directly for me. I hope it is the former. Can anyone shed any light on this matter?
Much appreciated.
Many thanks.
Denise
