I was in my hospital room recovering from a radical mastectomy, in December of 2002,right before Christmas.I was fully awake and contemplating whether or not to wake my daughter to help me to the bathroom.I looked around the room still undecided,I wanted to try it myself but I did'nt have the strength.As I looked towards the door I saw a man look at me.He had this brilliant glow all around him,he was dressed completely in white and I felt so at ease and comforted when he smiled as he went towards the door.But I never saw the light of the hallway which meant that the door was never opened.He never spoke but I felt that I knew what he was thinking.I woke my daughter and told her what I saw, she said that the staff does not wear all white.She also said that maybe I was asleep and just dreaming.But I know what I saw.I knew that he was watching over me and letting me know that everything was going to be alright.I have recovered from my surgery and been through all the tests again and everything came out great.Almost one year later and I am cancer free.I am not able to work because of all they removed,my arm movement is very limited,but I'm alive and that is more important.My faith has grown.My surgeon was surprised that he was able to release me so soon from the hospital.I went in on a Wednesday and went home on Friday morning.I felt very little pain.My husband has said that he has seen a white form floating over our bed at night,but he did not feel uneasy.He felt at ease and comforted.I know that my Angel is still with me because I see the difference in my life everyday.
