"Do NOT enter"

My daughter, who is fascinated by the unknown, loved the Carousel
Garden Restaurant. We decided to take her there for dinner on her 16th
birthday.
Her dad, her sister, she, and myself went there to celebrate
and had a lovely dinner.
After dinner, we decided to take a tour of the estate, and look at all
the pictures and rooms full of memories that others had experienced in
the haunted home.
On the upper level, there was one room that had been closed off, with a
sign that read "do not enter" in big bold letters.
Being the curious one my daughter is, she kept saying that she wanted
to see what was inside this room. Her father and I kept insisting she
stay away from this room, but as we were looking at another room, she
slipped into the room to check it out.
Inside the room, there were broken plates thrown all over the floor. It
was some sort of unused kitchen area.
We, not knowing that she had entered, all went back downstairs, to get
ready to leave.
As we started to put our coats on, we heard a noise behind us. Turning
around, we saw our "curious" little 16 year old, gracefully falling
down the entire staircase, as if in slow motion. She wasn't hurt badly,
just had a slight sprain. She said she felt something behind her on the
staircase.
To this day, she still tells the story about how the "ghost" shoved her
down the staircase when she entered, when told not to.
