Balls of Light

It all started early in the morning about three or four. I awoke to my brother histarical in my bedroom yelling for me to wake-up and look outside. I woke-up in amazment of what I saw outside my bedroom window. There were glowing balls of white/golden light everywhere the eye could see. They were hovering all outside my window. They were about the size of a softball maybe, a little smaller. They were beautiful. As we watched, it's like we were in a trance unable to speak but at peace. I remember being calm not really, afraid.

I don't remember this part but, my brother said after a while he decided to go get my mother. He said he brought her into my room and she couldn't believe what she was seeing either. He said she told us to go back to sleep since, it was so early and we had school the next day then, she went back to bed. I don't really remember that. Then, he said one came up close to his face (still outside the window) and it scared him so he decided to go back to sleep.

All I can remember is watching them for what felt like a long time. I don't remember going back to sleep or deciding not to watch anymore and I don't remember them going away. The wierdest part of all is that we didn't discuss it for years. We have always been very close, why didn't we talk about it?

I was about eight years old when this happened. We didn't discuss it until I was sixteen. Has anyone seen these?
